The Oath Of The Vayuputras – The Last Step Of Amish’s Journey From Finance To Fiction

Who could have ever imagined, that a finance pass-out from IIM-C would set sail the world on a journey to the fictional land of Meluha. Amish Tripathi, a leading finance and marketing professional, and now an author, always wished to become a historian. However, as per the will of destiny, he landed on the road to finance. Now that he had served the financial world for over 14 years, he was keen to do something for the historian hidden deep inside his heart. The results are in front of your very eyes. The Shiva Trilogy, a three-part series of amazingly fictional novels, came out as one of the most popular series of unsullied works from a budding author.

“The Shiva Trilogy”

With the first two parts of the series, namely The Immortals of Meluha and The Secret of the Nagas, the author blew away minds of the readers with the amazing plotline of the novels. His clever assimilation of Indian Mythology with facts and fiction made the books rule the shacks all around the globe. With a lot many still fondling with the previous two copies of the series, Amish is working hard to control the bated breath of the readers, and release the third and the final book of the series, The Oath of the Vayuputras!

For the ones who are done with The Secret of the Nagas, they’ll have to wait for a couple of months to enter the fight of obtaining their piece of third copy. There are a whole host of questions peeping out from the minds of the readers. When is The Oath of the Vayuputras releasing? What exactly will it relate to? Will it change Shiva’s destiny? Who are the Vayuputras? Are they good or evil? Blah … Blah … Blah!! There are thousands of questions that seek answers from the third book.

I don’t want to spoil the excitement, but there is something I know about the book. No, it is not what you are thinking to be. It is just a news update, surely capable of boggling the booklovers, from the author’s desk. Though Amish have not yet revealed the actual date of release of the final chapter, but he has given a slight idea about the same. According to the official facebook fanpage, the author has confirmed that he is done with one-sixth of the final edition and is expecting to release the same in December 2012.

The Amish – The Official Fanpage says,

“Hi guys. I thot I’ll give you a quick update on The Oath of the Vayuputras. I’ve been writing away and the story keeps getting longer and longer. So it looks like it’s going to be a rather long book; 30 chapters at the minimum…”

So, for now if you haven’t read the first two parts, then my suggestion would be to grab the easy on pocket combo of The Shiva Trilogy and enjoy reading. Till then, all of us can wait patiently for The Oath of the Vayuputras to release!

“50 Shades Series”

Here are some incredibly awaited literary works that will be hitting the shacks during the remaining half of 2012.

1. The Twelve by Justin Cronin
Since the author ended THE PASSAGE (2010) on an appalling cliffhanger, the readers cannot wait more for grabbing their copies of the sequel and return to the eerie world of Amy and Peter, set in a post apocalyptic era. One can just bet on the fact that this sequel from Justin Cronin will be one of the bestsellers.

2. The Son by Philipp Meyer
AMERICAN RUST, a debut novel from Philipp Meyer, made its entry into the most acclaimed books of 2009. His second literary work, THE SON, is mainly focused on Eli, Pete (Eli’s son) and Jeanne (Pete’s daughter), the 3 generations of a family based in Texas. According to the writer, each of them deals with their very own challenges in a respective order of comanche raiders, border wars and a changing civilization.

3. Joseph Anton by Salman Rushdie
The iconic literary figure is all set to describe his story from the years he spent hiding out from the world. On a certain date, Rushdie received a phone call from a BBC journalist, who told him that he has been sentenced to death by Ayatollah Khomeini. This was a gesture against his novel, The Satanic Verses, which was considered to be against Islam, the Prophet and Quran. To be released in September 2012, the writer explains how he, along with his family lived with a threat of being murdered for nine long years.
